Oh... Well I guess I was wrong but by the way you were talking yesterday we had a trade worked out! Nevermind then. Jabo looks like you got lucky on making a deal with him. Good luck everyone! I'm out of it now! I've never had someone make a deal and then back out and not inform me! WOW!
 
Well tim. You texted me yesterday and I told u that Jabo had bought the fish and rk. Everything is still for sale and you never gave me a definate answer to if you wanted it. You said that you wanted to look aty
Tank and for me to look at your tank so we would come up with a deal. So no you didn't make a final deal and tell me

And no offense to you. But I've had 3 people say they are coming to get the tank. Call and say they are on the way and I'd leave work and they no show or call.....

Even if that was the case like your saying, if the deal was we were supposed to check out tanks first then that means A DEAL IS PENDING and you shouldn't be posting that everything is for sale still. If that's the case then yea I'll trade with u, I'll take everything outta my tank and just leave the live rock ohhhh but wait, your even trying to sell that too. Lmfao. Jabo u might wanna make a special trip down here as soon as he gets back n town so he doesn't double sell what your wanting.
 
hey no rush Chris, I know you just got it in the tank and you probably want to give it plenty of time to adjust. You beat me to the punch in buying it! It looked really cool in the pic.....
 
Look I know Daniel personally for a few years now and I have never seen him act in any kind of shady way when it comes to trades and sales. Daniel has always been straight up and generously fair when it comes to stuff like that. I do not think this is the place for bashing people like that.

nah I wasn't BASHING anyone but if a deal is made to where both parties are gonna check out other parties tank to make sure BOTH are happy with the trade, then you shouldn't go and try to keep selling things that's inside the tank when I'm interested in everything that's in it. I didn't want him to get screwed and I didn't wanna get screwed! I wanted to make sure both of us were happy!! Yea I was ****ed, but I'm over it now. It doesn't matter now, I was hoping to upgrade to a bigger tank size and help out a fellow reefer while he was wanting to downsize! Maybe it was just a misunderstanding!!

Give someone an awesome deal ESP if they wanna get into the hobby with some pretty nice equipment. I'm willing to let it go for the low and take a huge loss on it just to move it!

I don't rip people off or have ever...there are plenty of people on this board that can vouch for me. I'm a stand up guy!


Btw. Saying that I screw people and saying that I didnt have a pending deal are two different things....
 
I am just an outsider observing the happenings between you two and I have to say that tran901 has done nothing wrong at all. SaltH2oLover do you really think that a 29g ia a fair trade for a 125g with sump and skimmer and 3 x the lighting etc etc etc. I read every post and unless tran901 said that he would trade full for full via text, then you guys never made any kind of final deal. You yourself even state FINAL as not having been determined. Oh and Jabo was talking to tran901 about the livestock before you even got involved so if you had worked that deal you would have been stepping on Jabo's deal correct? Jabo started his dealing's on 4/13 while you made you first trade offering on 5/28.

Looking at this it looks more like you are lucky to have not been talked to by the mods then this thread needed to be locked by the mods.

Evsalty, nothing was FINAL on here or even really discussed on here.. It was in text messages. I asked him about a trade, he said he would be interested in a trade for a nano that he would like to have one again. We then started talking a lil more about things. As far as Jabo goes,, he wasn't anywhere in the deal to begin with, as far as me and Tran goes... Tran discussed with me what things were coming with the tank and what wasn't. He informed me of the things that Jabo was getting, so NO I wasn't stepping on Jabo's toes.. I honestly still wouldn't mind coming up with an agreement and making a deal with Tran, I'd love to have a bigger tank and he'd love to have another nano. I didn't wanna make a FINAL DEAL with him without him seeing the 29 nano FIRST, I really wasn't worried about looking at his, bc it was bigger tank than mine, that's what I'm looking for, and I saw the corals he had and looked good. When Tran come over to look at mine is when the all the FINALS would be discussed. As far as it being "fair" as you call it. I know someone now that would buy my tank for what he's asking for his. So what exactly is so unfair?

Tran I don't have anything against you, I got a lil mad that you were still posting like everything was available, which I thought we had a pending deal going, so I was unsure why you were still trying to sell things. If you would've been in town none of this would've came up to begin with bc we could have checked each others tanks out that day or next and made a "DEAL" then and no confusion would've took place. What it boils down to is sorry you think I disrespected you, that's not what my intentions were. Mainly all I wanted is for you to say "TRADE PENDING" instead of still trying to sell everything. You were trying to sell liverock and all. I mean if that's what I wanted to do is start from scratch from nothing but just tank I could do that with the 135 freshwater I have. I wanted to start with an established tank which you have.. If this is what it takes "I'm sorry" maybe that will help out and everything can be dropped.....
