Completely Unrelated to Reefing...

This is a shameless request to support my other hobby :)

I am looking for places to metal detect when it gets a bit warmer and thaws out a bit around here.

I have been metal detecting for about three years now, and have found many items of interest, including Civil War relics (buttons, bullets, cannonball shrapnel), many old coins, pocket watches, etc etc.

So if any of you own an old home or old property that may yield some interesting finds, or even if you have lost a piece of jewelry and need help locating it, give me a shout.

With that said... Do any of you guys have other interesting hobbies?

my favoriet hobby is also school work and that is gentic enginering i like to make weird looking sea life lol including those sea urchins to come soon anybody want any breeding them as of the end of the week im also into car audio systems curntly instaling dual 15 inch subs for a freind with 2 500 watt amps i think ima start charging a small fee to support my reef hobby

matt what kind of urchins you breeding again? my hobby used to be model cars but i found something more expensive.haha

Not a bad idea Matt.

Perhaps I can entice someone with a free frag for a decent place to metal detect? Any takers? Huh? Huh? :)

The nice thing about metal detecting is that it can potentially yield some finds worth some good money. I found a Confederate Infantry "I" button a few months ago down in VA, worth about $400. I don't sell anything I find though, so I am still in the red until I do haha.

I live in ocean city, md in the summer and looooove scanning the beaches with the metal detector. Never found anything valuable but another guy that does it found a penny from 1873 near an old church. I brought it home when I was visiting and scanned my backyard here...impossible. Growing up as a kid we use to always shoot bb guns. Our yard is filled with 1000's of bb's. Good Luck!

i believe there long spined urchins the order didnt come in yet but im pretty sure thats what i put in for my request since thats my project thats what i should be qeting if i can get these things to a pinkis purple or so and i want ones with only like 3 spines i will sell these for small amount for my pain staking dna reconstruction or for 1 or 2 frags but the reguler urchins i will let go for a frag but i fished that car stearo took most of the day he's happy and im happy made 200 for it if anyone need help with audio need there cars done up im your man but urchins soon to come
