I ordered the 4 bulb ATI fixture for my 36x18x12" frag tank. Since my frag tank is only 12" high, I think 4 bulbs will be more than fine for sps frags.

If your friend is keeping LPS and softies in a 24" tank I bet he will be fine

ATI is no longer making the 2 Bulb i might have to go for a 4 bulb
