Concrete's 120 Tech, 200g system in the works

The polyps are blue.. It's a little bigger than a softball now. I know it was on an ORA Frag plug (still is,hehe)... Maybe it is something else?

its nice whatever it is.

well im going to Salty Critter tomorrow with my Buddy and getting frags from him, i cant wait.

Showy tank, Concrete--I am really digging your open and airy aquascaping. I have always veered toward the wall of rocks. Thanks for opening me up to some great new ideas

Can I ask, how did you get the rocks over your acrylic pegs? Did you have to drill the rocks, or did you just get lucky?

P.S. Do you like your Schuran Jetstream 1? I had one a few years ago and it was the best CA reactor set-up I've ever used. I really liked that piece of gear...! Very powerful!

Thanks, I appreciate the compliment.. Yes- The JS1 is the nicest Reactor I have ever seen. I talked my buddy into buying 1 about 20 months ago to try it out.. After helping him set it up I decided to buy my own :)

I'm only going to run it during the day when the lights are on..
I should be getting my ATB Kalk reactor soon...

Here are some recent FTS's- Sorry about the whitewash, My powermodule is super friggin bright!!
You can see my Asfur in these pics

Roger said he shipped everything to Scott Monday, so I should wait.

Here are some pics of the corals that didn't turn brown- I'm not a pro and these are taken with an Old 3 MP Canon P&S.

Hey Concrete, I still would love to know how you got those rocks onto the pegs--did you just utilize natural holes, or did you drill the rocks...?

J/K

Back a few pages I have pics of a couple of stands my acrylic guy made for me.
Yes- I had to drill through the rock... I'm not that lucky ;)

Here are the stands-

Yeah, I saw those great stands, nice--my acrylic guy could make those lickity split too. What sort of drill bit did you use, masonary? Did you have to drill real S L O W....? I hate drilling things, but for the effect it's really worth it...

Yes, I used a masonry bit-
No, I didn't drill slow, used a hammer drill and went at it full blast..
chewed through the rock like butter, nothing broke off either.

It was a little harder than I thought it would be- placing the rock was tricky..

New crap- Got my Reef fanatic Regulator & 10lb tank.. I'm going to use a little bit of Dolomite in my reactor to boost the Mg/keep it stable. I sandwiched it in between 2 layers of Large ARM..

I am going to feed the Reactor off the main pump, using a gate valve to control flow precisely. The solenoid will be controlled using the Profilux that should be here any day now :)

Ohh yeah, a pic of the ATB skimmin away..

Jeff,

I got a guy at work setting up a 120(48x24x24) with LPS and Softies. Do you think the 4 bulb ATI unit would be enough?
