Condy Anemone Acting Weird

About a week ago I added a condy anemone to my tank to see if our system could support an anemone because its been running for over 5 months. I put it on a rock pretty close to the top where it could get plenty of light. It stayed there for 3 days and it opened up and looked great. Then about 2 days ago it released from its spot and stuck itself in a very shadey spot. I dont understand because i thought anemones needed alot of light and flow. Is this normal? It looks fine where it's at but i dont know if this is normal.

What lights do you have? And what lights was it under?

While anemone do need "a lot" of light, they still need to be acclimated to increased light if they were under lower light. As for a lot of flow, that actually depends on what species of anemone -- so love lots of flow, whereas others do better/prefer less flow.

We have an ATI sunpower so our light output is high. I never thought about adjusting to the light because it was in a dark box then moved to the LFS for 5 minutes then to another dark box then our tank. Thank you so much for your help he has started to crawl out of the cave slowly and he looks great.
