Considering buying a Tunze 9010

I will be using this on my 110 gallon tank with a 40 gallon sump.
The section of the sump I will be placing the skimmer maintains constant water level all the time. The depth of the sump is 12 inches. Does this mean that I don't have to use the stand pipe for the sump application? There are not any pictures on the tunze web site of the different type of setups for this skimmer. I would like to get my hands of a tunze 9010 user manual.

I am pretty sure I have the manual in PDF format. You could set it up like the set up in the CK16, which is a tunze sump kit, the 9010 is set up more or less like in tank but with the coupler and without the outlet pipe.

They are convertible. They come assembled for in tank use but 9010, 9015, and 9020 include the parts required for in sump use.

reefkeeps, I have a 9010. The process of "convertion" for in-sump use takes about 2 minutes. It's pretty simple, and the 9010 comes with all the necessary parts.
