Conspicuous angelfish

personally I would wait for the tank raised ones that will be coming out of Bali. if you are going to go the wild caught route I would purchase one that is under 5" from LADD.

I would like to know the same. :)

If they grow as fast as my TR Maze and TR Scribbled did they will be 5" in no time!

I too would like to know this.:fish1:

I think Ted is holding out on us because if anyone knew about this it would be him. Maybe he will chime in? All I know is the smaller the more expensive. I would love to have one in the 3" range.

Funny you say this I pmed him about this and asked because like you said if anyone knows something about angels, its Ted. Plus he knows Wen much better than I

Wen had been having brief success with the conspics but they were dying around day 21, I think- need to check my notes, but then he lost one of the brood-stock. So they had to stop working with them. He seems to have a new angle/idea on breeding them and feels that this year he will have success. I have offered him both of my conspics for breeding purposes. Cross your fingers but I think we are at least 18 months away from seeing tb conspics...

Wow, thanks for the update Ted. That'll be another huge milestone for our hobby once Wen is successful. I'll be patiently waiting!

Thanks for the reply Ted. That is great news for me at least, easier to explain a 1000$ fish to the wife as opposed to the 2500$ fish...:love1:

Well if that's the case maybe I should be interested :)

Question is are they hardy at that point? What size Qt should I use? I normally use a 20 gallon but could increase the size.
