Conspicuous angelfish

What's been your experience with Bandits in a reef?

I kept a Conspic in a reef when I lived in Las Vegas without any problems. The fish was more like a puppy, would follow me back and forth in front of my 450. It ate just about anything, even bubble algae.

What happened to the Conspic?

I made some changes to my aquascape and he obviously did not like it. I found him dried out on the floor in my fish room. Only thing I can figure out is that he got trapped on top of some rock by the overflow and flipped himself out of the tank. It was a 450 gallon tank and not heavily stocked. I had him for 2-3 years at that point. I was really bummed. I now live in Charlotte with a pair of identical 220's.

Lost him in a Poker game!

Wow, that sucks Im sorry to bring that up again for you... Conspics are at the top of the list of favorite fish for me. Did you get her from a place locally, or how did you get get her?

I think he is referring to Vegasmikes Conspic.

Now if Kentucky can stop having a blizzard I can get my fish.

Will not be in now till Saturday.

Yes but I don't know how long. I'm going to do observation more or less and get him eating food before I add him to my DT.
I've heard they can be sensitive to meds like most angels. So if he is healthy and eating like a bull it might be quicker.

I've learned my lesson in the past.

I'm as nervous as a lark. But I think I'm ready. Here is Qt all ready for the new arrival. I ended up going out and purchasing a 37 gallon tank. It's on a metal Menard shelf that is rated for 350 pounds. The second worry.

As you can see it is not exactly level and not filled to the top. I'm probably leave it that way to.
