Cool Fish on Diver's Den

Oh really? Oops :) sorry!!!

Yeah, 175 doesn't look as bad once I've realized how much I've spent on equipment, although explaining to parents/ wife/husband is a different story :)

Parents was easy - wife is the tougher case :(

Back in Germany I was easily spending well over $1000 on a trip to DeJong (largest saltwater wholesaler in Europe) just on fish and corals.
For what I've spend over the years on this hobby I could have bought a house (in California).

Now when I spend money on the fish I get an earful...

If I find a fish I like that costs me 175$ I consider that a win! Most of what excites me cost $500+, I could be jaded...

I have a feeling this will be me when I grow up! As much as I would love to have a Gem Tang, or a Wrought Iron, it's just not even possible explaining to my parents :)

Yeah I agree that a $1600-2000 fish is a tough sell to your parents and it will be to your spouse as well! Also when you lose said fish it surely doesn't make it any easier

So they took it down when they had the 20% off sale?

Don't know. But its 20% off right now.

Call me crazy, but idk about this fish, just doesn't do it for me. Granted at this point don't have a tank or funds big enough for it, but even if I did...pass. I know this is against how most people feel haha.
