This is sort of relevant. Went to the LFS to pick up my candy-cane hog and I got asking the owner about these crazy fish prices. He said conspics have always been pricey, as have gem tangs. Said his cost for a conspic is about $1500, a gem more like $2,000. Nice markup on those prize fish!

We also talked about Clarions. He's been in the game for about 30 years. He said 15-20 years ago, a specimen Clarion would have cost about $125....

That misbar regal is awesome; the Dmorty one, the one just above is too out there. Still has to look like a regal....

Those seem to be Red Sea specimen.

Here some Pacific regals with misbars I found on another site:

I feel the most and the most extreme misbars come from the Red Sea. Maybe because regals are the by far most abundant species of angels there.
Indo and Pacific regals seem to have less extreme and overall less misbars.

Please tell me what the second fish from the bottom is!? Need to do some research on this little fella

Yeah just read up on them, sweet fish but I don't think my Fish will like it at 65 or under in my 625

How about adding another tank for cold water :D

There are stunning coldwater fish out there. Have you ever seen a Paraplesiops meleagris or bleekeri in person? I've seen them and they are stunning fish... just a bit large.

No more tanks for me except a QT setup... Less is more honestly, there just isn't enough time in the day and with my 25 month old daughter that couldn't be more true

That's true. I was thinking about setting up another small tank for a second pair of clowns but even that sounds like a lot of work.

Don't get me wrong I have 2-125g,220g,75g,and a 55g that are all empty but I don't need anymore "things" to take care of. My 155lb Great Dane, 105lb Pitbull,13 yr old cat, and 27 month old daughter (having trouble counting today) are enough! Oh I almost forgot about the goldfish that I practiced force feeding on! So yeah Im good:deadhorse1:
