Cool Fish on Diver's Den

Apolemichthys kingi is really not a rare or hard to catch fish, it's just coming from an area where we don't get regular shipments from.
I wish I still had contacts to our relatives in SA...

+1
... but even then I doubt I would find a white and red deepwater Centropyge appealing enough to shell out 30k for a single fish.
There are just too many other interesting fish I would want to go after first.

Couldn't agree more. There are some crazy hybrid angels that pop up from time to time that people like Ted seem to snatch up that I would enjoy more honestly. If you come across some "contacts" let me know, the Kingi is a wonderful fish I hope to be lucky enough to own one day. That and a Personatus

just got my new flasher wrasse from DD. will try to shoot a pic as soon as possible, probably tomorrow.

One of my favorites!

Would look nice in the 625g....

Eats pellet food! I thought those would cost more than $199.

Never mind. Gone. Lasted about 90 seconds maybe....

There was some crazy, gorgeous wrasse that went just as fast. Lineatus Fairy Wrasse, I think it was?

This one is not really a picture of health:

Also not a fish I find exciting in any way - the rare fish collectors can have it.

A nice pair of C. interuptus would be a different story...

It is all relative, lol, that one is doing better than mine....

love my interrupta pair, but the peppermint is a totally unique fish...

the red is crazy and the white contrast is wild but the golden yellow eyes, ventrals, and leading edge of anal fin is truly beautiful and rarely discussed...

A shame the peps are such dumb lil things...hopefully, there will be success with breeding but....:hmm3:
