Apolemichthys kingi is really not a rare or hard to catch fish, it's just coming from an area where we don't get regular shipments from.
I wish I still had contacts to our relatives in SA...

... but even then I doubt I would find a white and red deepwater Centropyge appealing enough to shell out 30k for a single fish.
There are just too many other interesting fish I would want to go after first.

Couldn't agree more. There are some crazy hybrid angels that pop up from time to time that people like Ted seem to snatch up that I would enjoy more honestly. If you come across some "contacts" let me know, the Kingi is a wonderful fish I hope to be lucky enough to own one day. That and a Personatus

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I could buy roughly 32 Kingi Angels before being able to afford one Ferrari!

How big is the driveway?

My idea of a mansion would be one of those English castles where you drive at least 10 to 15 minutes through a private park before you get to the main house.
So it would be quite a big driveway.

They all only eat pellets for whatever reason. I want a small one, like 2-3" but they don't catch them that small

love my interrupta pair, but the peppermint is a totally unique fish...

the red is crazy and the white contrast is wild but the golden yellow eyes, ventrals, and leading edge of anal fin is truly beautiful and rarely discussed...







A shame the peps are such dumb lil things...hopefully, there will be success with breeding but....:hmm3:
