Blue Zoo sold one for $700, so I would imagine that they would be somewhere in that range.

Shrimp "pairs" on DD are complete rip offs.

If those were at least some shrimp that are difficult to pair like the smaller Stenopus species or Alpheus pistol shrimp - but no, it's always Lysmata species "pairs". With Lysmatas you always get a pair if you throw two into the tank.
Oh yeah, sometimes they also have pairs of Hymenocera, which are super easy to sex.

If u can get one not from wholesale for $300 then that is a steal. Yes, 450-650 is going range usually for them.

Just order two singles and a pistol shrimp on the side (if going with Alpheus randalli you can also add more - I put 10 into a 40B - in the hope to get a pair of them as well).
The gobies will pair up and change sex if needed, so getting a pair is quite easy.

Extremely deep water fish, from Hawaii... Bandits are rare but beautiful! 600$ is a steal...

Yep!

These guys never seem to photograph well. Mine actually looked a lot like this one in his WYSIWYG pic, but is much better looking in person (my pics don't do him much justice either). IME, as they grow, their colors really intensify. Great fish if you have the right system for one!

Heres a pic! (he's about 11").

edit: I was pretty tempted to snag this guy to try and pair with my current one (The fish available is still a juvenile). Just don't have the space for another large fish!
