Flame angels in my neighborhood range from $60 to $135 or so. (That shop is known for high prices...) Even at my fave reef shop, a multicolor is going to run $100.

You are clearly somewhere that a nice, quality LFS can be sustained... The only place that has a large selection of fish near me, the prices are 3xs what you listed! Jordan is especially appealing to me because he will hunt down fish for me, currently looking for small false or true personifers. He will find them and let me know a price, it maybe next week or it could be a month from now.

This particular store has been a 'low price' leader for at ~5-6 yrs, and always has even BETTER prices for his Black Friday sales... Thanks to him, there are at least 2 or 3 LFSs that have similar pricing.

You're in a completely different ball game living in Southern California. Get your license and you can go pick out your own fish at SDC or QM

We have a wholesaler that is open to the public, everything has a disease (if not several) and things are 200% higher than the prices you listed. No thank you

Which one in Orange County? I visited Reef Lounge and Brea Tropical Fish last time I was down there. A real rinky-dink shop called I Got Corals was closed - hard to even say they ever really opened...

Shortened and with stub for pelvic fins. I would not touch them with a 10 foot pole.

I had a juvenile a few months ago but it died from flukes before I was able to cure it of the problem. I'm only looking to have 25 fish or so in my tank so I have been carefully selecting the last 8-10 fish.
