Walter did you happen to see any mysids around the dock where you launched from? I looked behind Atlantis a few weeks ago. No shrimp but i did manage to net an algae covered ipod.

Didn't look around the dock. But we did catch 2 mysid in that giant net so it's safe to say they aren't here yet. Water is about 10deg cooler than last year this time. Let me know if you see any.

Not that you need me to chime in, but $200 doesn't sound high to me. I've spent more than half that for a skiff with a 6 HP outboard day rental out of Point Lookout.
My wife has been bugging me to take her Whale watching, I wonder if this guy does that?

Larry, I am sure if you gave him a call he would work something out with you. I know he gets reports on Whale and any other sea life in our waters regularly. So he would know if they are around and when to go. Don't forget your underwater camera!

I spoke to Capt Metzger over the weekend and he is more than happy to do a group rate.
I know he also ran into huge schools of bunker Saturday and there have been reports of small Bass.

I would call sooner than later as I know he is getting calls(bookings) coming in with this good weather finally hitting us.
