Copperband and acans

Last one I had ate all my aptasias and mysis and decided he liked acans have another in qt starting to get more aptasisas popping up.. Anyone else have copperbands and acans and lps with no issues long term? New copperband eats frozen like a champ almost ready to be added ..

I think you need to get your CBB to eat other foods. IMHO, when the fish start eating the corals in the tanks they are missing something in their diet. Get some black worms for the CBB, and keep him well fed. I have a CBB and a couple of Dwarf Angels in my reef tanks with plenty of corals and clams and they never bother them. I believe it is because they are well fed. Then again, some fish are just jerks.

Mine definitely eats lord acans. Once I figured it out I moved my surviving colonies to my 90.

CBB may or may not eat aiptasia. The Australian endemic seems to have a greater chance. CBB may or may not be coral safe. CBB may or may not eat at all. It is a complete roll of the dice.

Actually, that is not the only fish that suddenly wakes up one day and loves to eat meaty corals (I excluding those that are obligate coral feeders)
