Looks like galaxea coral to me. If so they have sweepers that can extend many inches and sting so keep away from other corals.

Judging by the plug and the size of the coralites I will have to vote galaxia as well

Anyone have this coral? I read it extends out about 4 inches and can sting other corals. Should I just stay away or what do you guys recommend. I really like the colors and the way it flows.

I have a small one. It just depends on you and your set up. I like it personally but I haven't really found it a permanent spot. Mine extends around four inches and I currently have it in the sand bed. If you have room in your tank then it's really up to you if you keep it. I think they are neat to look at.

I plenty of room right now, as I'm just starting to think of what I want for corals. Does it sting any coral? How about zoas and mushrooms?

My galaxia is in the middle about the size of a softball.

Very nasty coral sweepers can get over 12inches in high current especially at night.

I was going to say the same. Someone posted a pic on here recently with a galaxia that a sweeper was going around the tank. It was pretty insane
