I'm super sorry to read about this Peter, I've followed your tank for the last 4 years stalking RC. Hope to see what you come up with in the future.

I am getting an ocean of condolences and emails from folks who are not members of Reef Central with a million questions which are mostly covered in the update in the forum. I have been trying to figure out how to give them a link to the first post (#838) so they can read the ensuing threads but I am having a heck of a time getting a link that starts with the post and just continues to the end......any suggestions on how I can give them a link that works to an exact starting point(post) in the thread would be appreciated.

Peter

Peter, so sorry to hear about your tank. I'm not on RC very often these but was quite shocked to read about what happened. After a long cold winter I think spring is just around the corner. Spring brings new beginnings and a fresh start so hopefully you can get everything sorted out and bring new life to your new reef.

Click the link for the post number. This will open that individual post. In upper right is a link back to the thread, which is actually opens the thread at that post. Click that, then copy the URL in the browser and that will get them to the thread starting at that post

Wow, this is not what I was expecting to read this afternoon. Peter and his tank have been inspiring in ways much further than an just the aquarium hobby. I'm sure all will end well!

+1 on the reputation of James. Although I never used him I did speak with him when inquiring about my tank. I went with GEO, local, friend, etc. but James was next in line for me.

Peter, just keep rocking on, man. This isn't like drag racing cars and you get everything right and stuff still blows up, which is why I stopped that craziness. Running an 8 second quarter mile is fun, but not that fun, LOL.
What happened in your case is not the norm and shouldn't have happened. From just the knowledge and experience you gained from that tank will save you big time on your next build.
