After finishing chingchai's thread and noticing chinchai always talking about your thread I had to look at yours. I just finished your thread and all I have to say is your tank is phenomenal, you and Mr. wilson have done an amazing job on your aquarium. I one day would love to have a tank that can mirror your or chinchai's tanks. I love this tank, I can not wait until its loaded with corals & everything. Ooh I just wanted to ask because I do not remember if you did the review on it, but how do you like the skimz skimmer ? How is it performing ? thanks

Antwan, thank you for your nice comments. As far as I am concerned ChingChai's build is truly the best our world of hobbyists has to offer. We are privileged to have him in our community.

As far a the Skimz skimmer we are still working on it and will be able to comment in the next couple of days, I hope.

Peter

I'm not sure if we can post ebay links, but if you search for "max.water" on ebay you'll find an American supplier for the GAC filters even in the 20" sizes. I've used the Canadian partner and they are quite good to deal with.

EDIT -Actually the American one just sells systems, the Canadian one sells cartridges (but does ship internationally) - weird.

Peter,

I noticed that you're at 999,080 views. It doesn't look like RC's software can display 1,000,000 so I think that you're about to bring the site crashing down.

Congrats!

I must say nice thread and great ideas. Im very interested in the culture/feeding system that were discussed a few pages back. how is that project going?

All kidding aside I have noticed lately that the response from the RC site has been sluggish or is that just my imagination. I don't think it's my network.

Congrats! You surpassed the 1,000,000 view mark and RC didn't crash.

I'm don't know for certain, but I suspect that this is a milestone for the reefing community. Time to break out the bubbly.

(and yes, RC has been rather sluggish as of late)

Thanks Jerry, It is a great testament to the staying power of this community. ChingChai holds the world record......we are just following in his footsteps.

Peter. Congratulation!
No doubt that you gonna surpass me very soon.
This thread can defintely be arranged as the guide book of how to set up a perfect reef tank.
I think it's about time for you to put some top corals in your tank.

I love blue faced angels!!!!!!!!!! Just wondering peter how much did you pay for him? There is a small 4" one here locally but I can't justify paying 189.99 for him. Yours looks quite bigger than 4", looks around 6" at least.

YES!!!!!! he came out for a photo shoot. I'm glad he is getting more comfortable.

I was with Peter when he bought this fish. OMG the blue and yellow is just perfect. This is by far a show piece Blue Face and its actually about 8". Big boy/girl. Again the pictures don't do it justice. I think every large reef needs one big boss to roam the tank, it just makes it officical and more realistic. Watching little fish get out of his way etc is just real cool and is amazing to see the community change its behaviour. Also the first thing the blue face did was go for a massage. Out of the 24' of tank to explore he went right to the massage parlour and found himself a shrimp massage.

Congrats on the 1 million peter.

Spectacular fish, Peter. (and the photo ain't too shabby either)

Beautiful addition Peter!

Thank you all. I am trying to ensure that this fish appreciates the finer things in life. Here I am serving up some Barq's Root Beer................

wow Peter love the new addition they are my nuber one for favorite fish, unfortunatly don't think I will ever get one since I dought I will ever convince the hubby to let me get a tank big enough.

You know you have to get him a buddy to play with now peter...I think an Emperor would look great in there also, or a large scribbled angel.

I agree with Chago, in fact I might even suggest 9-10 inches. I`m afraid I can`t recall the exact price but he was more than 189.99 I believe. I think Chago or Mr. Wilson might recall. We bought some other stuff at the same time. He certainly is a nice specimen for sure.

Well for that size I would be willing to pay twice the amount of the one here local to me. Does 190 sound fair to anyone that knows angel for a 4" Blue Face?
