As mean as this fish is I can't bring myself up to give it a boot. We go back about six years, so I every time I stop bleeding I change my mind about wacking this fish... :D

And I thought I had a lot of RBTA's At five of them! that is a very cool tank!

If you don't mind telling how did it come about this way? did it start out as justone and it split or did you just keep adding?

The photo's were great I would love to se a flash picture a few hours after lights out just to see how different the tank looks with the anemones hunkered down for the night.

I appreciate your concern for that tang's well being.., however, it will be 10 years this July since I got him.
He's been living with that clownfish for the past six years and it is he, not the clownfish that is the boss of the tank. There is no other fish in there.

That tang should literally be scared for his life!

Hardly! For the same reasons as stated above.

Hi Lucas,

It is all from one anemone that I bought in 02, January if I remember correctly. I had given away many of them, sold some.., and still I have at least 60-70 clones in there. They ranging from 10" to a mere 2" across.

Anyways, I'll look for the early morning shot of the tank and post it for you later on. If I rmember... :D

That would be really cool I would just like to see the contrast!

Do you do anything to initiate a split? does it happen often? I have found that if I keep things the same in the tank mine rarely split but if I feed a different food or use a different salt they split.

Again very neat tank never seen anything like it!

P.S. our tang (woodstock hehe) is the boss of his tank as well not scared of anything, even seen him stung by the anemones a couple of times

Amazing tank, Gene. And an inspiration that you've had those fish for so long. With you so close by, I'm surprised we never see you around!

Hi Phyl,

I haven't gone to any meetings or whatnot in some time. It's almost impossible for me to keep any dates due to me being a pappy to my granddaughter. It;s a long story...

Maybe later on I can contribute in some way to our club, just not at this time.

Wow, that is amazing! I have always wanted a RBTA and now I'm definitely going to go pick one up. I bet it is mesmerizing to watch them move in the current. Great tank!

p.s. great clown shots too!
