So everything seems to be working and for the most part pretty quiet but every 2 min there is a bad gurgle then it goes away.....do I need to increase flow?

It's a single drain....I ended up increasing flow...and took the sponge off the grated fitting that goes into the bulkhead....put ceramic Pellets in the bottom of box. And adjusted the little plastic pipe that goes into the fitting seems pretty quiet now.

Really all you probably needed to do was play with the plastic pipe. It feeds air into the drain line and at the right point of insertion it will stop the gurgling.

Yeah I am going to be removing the ceramic bits today and playing a bit more because now all I can hear are the ceramic bits getting knocked around lol

+1

Just move the little plastic straw up or down to kill the sound. The slurping-toilet noise can be annoying!

I had the same problem with my CPR. The little plastic tube didn't seem to make any difference regardless of how high or low I set it. I ended up yanking out the screen entirely and made up a 1" durso overflow and jammed in into the bulkhead at the bottom. Bingo. No more Niagra Falls behind my tank.

I took the ceramic out and adjusted the straw seem silent now....I get some gurgling ocassionally but I think that is because my return line is under water..
