Crab ID?

I pulled this guy out of my tank today. I didn't put him in there, must have came in on the live rock. I think it's a Gorilla Crab, but I'm not certain. Not taking any chances, he's taking a trip to the beach with my wife today.

Can anyone give a positive ID? It's about the size in between a dime and a quarter.

Yep. Large meat eating crab.

Hard to be very species specific with these small crabs. Many of them look very similar when they are small, being hairy for camo, so we just blanket them with the gorilla crab term.

The tips of his claws look rounded.....might be an algae eater,but the hairy legs scare me

Yeah, those claws look spoon shaped to me too. Can you get a pic of it's front?
