Cree led guide for dummies?

I"m looking at putting together a Arduino controller and while I"m busy building everything thought I'd put together a LED system as well.

I've read a ton of threads and the more I read the more confusing it gets. What I've got it down to is I need the following Cree LEDs:

3 Blue, 21 RB, and 12 NW

Now looking at where to get them and the variations of Cree is daunting! Every site I look at seems to stock a different model number! :sad2:

There's XPE, XPE2, XTE, XPG, XML...and the list goes on.

Which ones should I be looking at? :uhoh3:

Go to rapidled.

Add a few more blues and some green.

if you go with cree, go with xte's, they are currently the most efficient less in the cree line up. xml's are just too powerful, efficient, but overkill in small applications.
