Crispa deflating every afternoon

The anemone stopped the deflating since that large water change.
My guess is that either some critical element was depleted or that there was some other form of chemical imbalance.

I don't neglect water change anymore, even when nitrate is fairly close to not detectable. Corals, clams and anemones doing a lot better. Fish does not care.

Yeah I was a a big advocate of minimal water changes now that I got a good system down I don't dread it anymore and the nems look a lot better however my tank with a few gonioporas did not like the water changes they I guess like dirty water lol

OK, it's now quite some time and it looks like the water change really did the trick. It's getting bigger and the deflating has stopped.

I would take tis a bit as a cautionary tale not to break out the meds too fast - sometimes it is not an infection but something else.

Great nem - I tried to obtain one just like it from a local store, but the foot was damaged removing it from the rockwork, and it unfortunately did not make it - still sick about it...

Also, water changes are always your friend! :)

We had a heat wave the last few days and Monday in the late afternoon the tank temperature hit 31 °C.
The anemone obviously didn't like it and deflated again, but came back up as soon as the temperature went down a few degrees.
I turned the chiller fan on for now and that seems to be effective enough.

This anemone definitely doesn't like temperatures above 30 °C.

I feel the anemone is getting bigger over time:
