Hi all, here's my plans for my 75gal DT with 30gal sump. Very basic (I guess) pre-drilled Aqueon Durso overflow. This drawing sucks, completely not to scale but you can hopefully get the idea where my valves and unions are and tell me what I have wrong.
The gate valve on the drain side is meant to be a shutoff only. I haven't bought the valve yet...I do have a ball valve that I was originally going to use and would like to stick with to save money, but I read that the gate valves last longer.
Apologies for the small type. Rectangles are unions, circles = gate valves, diamond is a check valve. The arrow sticking out on the return side is a capped tee union.
All feedback appreciated (unless it is about my lack of artistry LOL)
