Crocea clam questions

How long does it take a crocea to foot himself to the rockwork? I've had one in my tank for 5 or 6 days and was wondering. He is about 8 inches from the water surface and the lighting I am providing him is 2 250 watt metal halides, T5 actinic and VHO actinic, all of this in a 90 gallon tank

I've got my crocea about 14 inches from my T-5's and it took hold day one... Guess it depends on if they are happy or not. Does it try to move around at all? Does it throw itself off the rock work?

It hasn't moved any and hasn't jumped off the rock, not yet anyway.
