That is S. haddoni. It's hard to tell what color it is in the pic. Maybe green? It's a sand dwelling anemone that does not like a lot of flow. Dig some sand out from a sand/rock interface and stick the anemones foot in it. The anemone should do the rest.

That's for sure is a haddoni and that color morph is pretty common. My lfs usually have it in stock and it's that same dull green color with a very very slight hint of blue/purple on the rim depending on the angle you look at it.

Haddoni are sand dweller and it's best to dig a hole in the sand and bury its foot for quicker acclimation. They also prefer rocks around it. They don't like too much flow and definitely not direct flow. They don't require as much light as the other carpet anemone(gigantea). If you can keep LPS with your light, they'll do just fine.

It will eat a lot of your critters like snails, crabs, shrimps, etc. and a lot of your fish as well. That, I hope, you know at the very least.

I have a damsel i wish it would eat i have been trying to get the damn thing out of the tank for over a month . Any tips or tricks on how to do that ?

I have caughten damsels with a small fly hook before.. it took a few days of angling.. I got a good chuckle from my friends when they came over and I was fishing in my own fish tank..

Thats what i am doing this weekend to get my elusive trigger out! Have you had any negative effects on the fish?
