CT Frag Farmer's Market 3/8/14

Sweet! Spread the word down your way, bring a few more with you. If it is frags you are looking for, the FFM will do some to fill your needs.
 
Last year was my first visit. Half of what I bought were full colonies for wicked awsome prices!! I also won the protein skimmer and a gift certificate at the raffle! All told I probably walked out with 30+ corals plus the skimmer (which cost me $10 in raffle tickets). Hoping to make it out again this year.
 
Sweet. The raffle is coming together nice again this year with some nice big items. The coral bargains are ALWAYS part of the ffm.

I just got confirmation that the "CDMAS Sponsor Table" will be Healthy Pet Center of NY. I have been told that they have some great stuff and I am glad to have them coming down for the day!
 
silly question but will there be anyone selling/trading fish there? I know it says frags but one of your vendors sell fish so I was curious to know if they were selling fish also
 
There are always a few fish around. I try to have the whole thing focused on aquaculture, since that is the main goal of the FFM, so you do see some clowns, and a few others, but it is mostly coral. I know I will have a few designer clowns in the raffle from Sea and Reef, for example.
That said, there are a bunch of stores coming. If you are looking for something specific, you could try to set something up and pick the fish up at the FFM if you want.
 
sounds great. would you possibly have a list of the vendors with fish that I could contact? that way I can check there prices among my new york prices and take it from there
 
Really any of the shops should be able to (I can't really pick sides!). If you check out the list that I posted and look a few up, make a phone call or two, I am sure that you can set something up.
 
Parking should be better. There are not events that I know of at the school and we have a garage and lots across the street now (with a bunch of places to eat). There is also a Uconn lot out behind the school where you can park as well.
