I cant wait until this is over. Ive been stressing so much over every little thing. In about 10 years of this hobby this is the first time Ive done any sort of QT or treatment.
I gotta say its actually going pretty well. Everything seems pretty content and I find some of my fish are even eating better now than they did in the DT
My Orangeshoulder couldn't seem to figure out how to use the algae clip, but my new Powder Brown took to it right away. It only took the orangeshoulder half a day of watching the PBT to figure it out. Now theyre two of the plumpest tangs Ive seen.
I was going to change to hypo until I realized last night that the Cupramine throws ammonia levels way out of whack. I put in two Seachem Ammonia Badges to check off each other and both are showing fine so no more stressing over the massive amounts of water changes.
On a slightly related note, on Monday I treated with Prazipro after realized the PBT came in with flukes. Two minutes after dosing it started flipping out, zipping all over, scratching very quickly and breathing extremely fast. After a few minutes of being sure I just killed my brand new fish he settled down and has been great ever since. After some reading it seems the flukes will try to bury themselves in right after treatment. Looked quite painful.
