Incredible. I love the complexity and automation, but for me a good portion of joy of this hobby comes with being able to "tweak" and alter things on my own. Seems like this tank takes all the thinking out of it. Of course, when I'm away on vacation having a setup like this would put my mind at ease!

While I've seen this in the past, I still would like to know the rational of 1200 gallons of "empty water space" just for "stability".

I am building a 822 gallon here http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2166721. I will not have that much stuff. I think it is way cool, but it is like having a Lexis or a Ford, they will both get you to where you need to be. One just feels better to the driver
