Cyano in the refugium

The tank is clear of cyano but its all over the fuge. I have the drain from the display split to the skimmer and to the fuge, there is about 300gph running through the fuge. Is there not enough flow? I have the fuge light running 24/7. Its a 50/50 pc light and also a 5500k flood light.

Its a new 90 gal up about 1 month with about 50lbs live rock from my existing tank.

Amonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 0

Any ideas?

I have the same thing in my fuge, comes and goes. Never saw any in the main tank. I have lots of flow in the fuge and my parameter are the same as yours except I have the fuge lights off for 6 hours a day. In general i would rather have it there then in the display.

i have same problem, cyno seems to be in everyones fuges lol, i just stir up the sand a bit every few days...

Same thing here. I just bought a small conch for the cyano in the fuge. The cyano never makes it to the display, but diatoms do. Weird.
