Cycling 33 gallon for Seahorses

Hello All ! I am completely new to this site and to the saltwater world. I recently got a 33 gallon Fluval. I have a few damsels 2 choc chips and a clown and a fabulous clean up crew cycling it. RIP 2 camel shrimp. My bf put a wrasse in there and he killed them :( Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated. I plan on letting it cycle for about another 2-3 months before I put my ponies in.

i am a bit confused as to what you have going on.do you have 3 tanks you say cycling tank for s/h but list fish that are totally incompatible.
and you show pics of s/h what are they in right now?

Ha no just one tank. Sorry. I will be taking all of the fish out before the seahorse go in, of course. The pic of the seahorse is just a pic off the web.

i feel much better now. that size tank will be good for a pair maybe 3 if you are real good about maintenance. i would try and get some macro algae for them to hitch too. and would make sure you get captive bread horses . erectuc or said to be easiest. do some reading .look for one of rayjays post they usually have a link to some good info.

Thanks! Ive been reading up for months now. and Ill def look for rayjays post. I plan on ordering them from seahorse.com I will try the erectus first and the sunbursts are so pretty.

Alrite..thanks so much. I see theyre located in Fl. Prob a better Idea shipping them from there rather than from Hawaii ! and better prices
