d2mini's "Essential Focus" Mixed Reef Build

Whoop! Whoop!

D2mini is back in the game :)
Good luck and I'm sure it'll be an awesome journey... AGAIN :)

I'm in!

Awesome. Dennis, I am really looking forward to seeing how the outdoor space is completed. I am betting the wife makes you make the shed prettier to go with her fabulous new outdoor living area.

Subscribed! Pretty cool house considering the age and the lemon tree is a great bonus.

Those are Loquats! And pretty tasty I might add. :D

We put orange and grapefruit in those blue containers, and we also planted a peach tree in the other corner of the yard not in the pics. :)

Awesome, will enjoy following this one. When you asked about tank location, I saw the massive island in the kitchen and thought "peninsula tank". That would be a little extreme, even for you :)

I should have noticed it from the leaves but the cool blue was pulling my eyes away. :D You will love having those fruits, our little peach tree is loaded with tiny peaches again this year.

haha, you two should get together! :D
That would be cool... but yes, definitely more extreme than I want to go this time.
Maybe the last build (and teardown experience) is too fresh, but this time I want to keep things simpler with only very minor modifications to the house.

Following along I think I know which company that will build your next tank, but I will keep it a secret.
You are more than welcome to guess!
But I won't reveal if you are right just yet. ;)

This will be good......

Also super jelly of the loquat tree. One of my favorite fruits.
I had never even heard of a Loquat before. They are pretty good. Remind me of a peach/plum.
A little bit of a pain to eat with the big seeds but they are pretty yummy. Sweet but a little tartness at the same time.

BTW...love the color of your deck. Beats the same ole same ole boring cedar look.
haha, thanks. :)

LOL, yeah we had to leave behind several citrus trees at the old house. They had just starting bearing fruit this past year!

SWEET! Love your builds, I dub thee the consummate build artist!
heh heh, thanks. Glad you enjoy. :)

UPDATE 3-30-16

More goodies are rolling in this week. Woohoo! :)
This was the next piece of equipment to arrive.
If you are familiar with my other builds, you'll know this item is a bit of a departure for me.
Still need to order bulbs. Maybe once my dang tank ships! :p

Sexy light!

How did you like your last tank build quality? Thinking about getting a 48"x48"x24" cube.

The Planet tank was pretty nice. Had some nice design features like the perimeter bracing with inset rail for a screen top. The silicone wasn't 100% bubble free, but not bad. When I tore it down we did find out that some water made it's way between the top layer of pvc and middle layer of glass of the hyrbid bottom.
