*d2mini's new 200g Reeftastic Build*

Re-plumbed yesterday and it now flows like niagra falls!!! :bounce1:
Man, what a difference. As you can see, no more horizontal runs (except for going through the wall) and no 90 elbows. And now my Reeflo Barracuda Gold return pump is running at full tilt, rather than being turned down to around 50%. And you can see that my siphon drain is also turned down a bit.
The system now starts up as it's supposed to. And almost all my flow is coming out of the siphon with just a trickle out of the open channel.
So now we have definitive proof that BeanAnimal does in fact work as designed when going through a wall.

Thank you.
It's already filled and running, but it won't be stocked until Aug 8th or so when I get my first TBS shipment. So about 2 weeks. :)

Nice going with no horizontal runs. I did the same making sure I had max flow to my sump. The only line that has any 90s is the Edrain...go figure.

Dennis you never cease to amaze and inspire. Fantastic co-mingling of function and design.

Cool, ya I'm surprised at how much it was effected with the 90's and horizontals, but i guess a lot of it was the small diameter pipe, too. BTW, what is going on with Marsh? Been down a long time.

Wow, thanks! :)

Fantastic Job on the plumbing! Tagging along.
Thanks! Welcome aboard. :)

One of the best setup, i've ever seen.
Very nice of you, thanks! :)

coming along very nicely.
my bet is in less than 1.5yrs, there'll be another tank upgrade.
Thanks! Ohhhhhh nooooo.... that's like telling someone in the middle of changing diapers and feeding an infant at 3am in the morning that you expect another baby to arrive soon. :fun5:

I may eat my words, but it's highly doubtful. This is the one spot in the house that a tank would work, and I made it as large as I possibly could and still have a functional dining room. And I don't like having more than one tank at a time. The only way another tank will be possible is if we move again. ;)

Dennis your work is Top Notch! I may have to hire you and fly you up here when I do my next build! WOW!!

I heard out hosting people had some sort of crash. Seems like they are making progress though. I forgot about the part where you said that you switched from 1" to 1 1/2". I have 1" drains on my 3/4" return so I imagine those 1" drains were killing your 'Cuda. I bet that thing is a rippin' and a tearin' now!! Pfft, who needs MPs with that kind of flow.
The setup looks awesome. I'm going to scrap my build before I'm done 'cuz of you, lol!

Dennis, take another pic standing halfway into your garage so we can get a good look at the full system.
Also, where will your QT or HT be?
