DARC is Getting a Light Meter

All,

We are getting a light meter within the next 2 weeks. It will be available to all for free. I do need some suggestions though. I will we make sure that someone doesn't walk away with it? How long should a person be able to keep it? Any other ideas that this goes well.

Also, we are setting up a loaner program. People will be able to borrow pumps, heaters, TDS meters, ballasts, ect to try before they buy, or if their's breaks and they need a loaner. If you have something to give to the program that works too

It shouldn't take long to measure light in your tank. I think the loan period should reflect that, a few days to measure some lightbulbs is plenty.

I like that approach, but think we should also have current contact info as well.

not really a member here, clicked the wrong link, but just an idea...have the person who has the meter deliver it to the next person's home, at least you would know where they live.
