dark areas on tang

My orange shoulder tang just broke out with these dark splotches. Bought it about 2 weeks ago. I do not have an isolation tank. It has not spread to any of the other fish yet. The fish is eating OK and is not showing any strange behavior yet other that rubbing its sides on the sand occaisionaly. Any input would be very much appreciated, thanks.

do you have a QT tank?

take him out and treat him it may be ick..
you can use copper (medication) or hypo

I would think it was black ick instead of regular ick. Different disease.
