thinking about picking up some of this. i heard it is a good species to put in a dispay tank. is it true it does not go sexual?
any other info....please!
:smokin:

I have some of this if you want some pm me. It does grow in one area it divides by breaking apart. Very easy for me to keep. Grows like freshwater pella if you know what that is. Simple plant just put it where you want it watch it grow. It has a medium growth rate. Very easy to control unlike other macros that take over your whole tank. Mine is kinda see thru red I can send you a pic if you want. Just ask

ok i have a full blown reef tank that i love . with corals and all. would i regret putting this in my main? i can also put it in my sump. I already have macro in there but can put it in its own camber.what do you think? if it stays in control i will definatly add it to my main tank as i would like the aqua scaping to rep. all systems in the ocean.

I would recomend highly putting in main tank. This is a slow growing macro that will not take over your tank. It forms a bush and goes not break easy. You have to actually pull it apart to break it. It looks very cool and actually glows red in brite light.

I would give it about a 6 inch AREA for it to grow out in. It does not spead fast it forms a pile instead of running across rocks

ahhh that explains to me better. so it doesnt really look to anchor onto lr?! it just grown out in a bushy pattern right? will my tang pick at it.

It does anchor to lr. You must make sure it does not move for it to do so( about 2 weeks). don't know if your tang will eat it as I do not have any fish in my tank at all. Just macro and sponges, alot of shrimp, and some zoos. The macro can also grow on the sand like a bush
