KEstep - yes but it's a duel return so I'm not sure I will get enough volume. Also I sometimes dial the return pump back. I'm running an Iwaki 100 from the basement to the first floor. It's complete overkill but I get to vary the return rate to give my livestock and coral some different water flow. If I run direct from one of the return lines I am worried that I may cause flux within the skimmer and not get the most constant / efficient skimming. Also if I attach a larger skimmer pump I can T that and also feed my ozone reactor. However if the level will remain constant that may be the better choice. I can just figure another means of feeding the ozone reactor.
My understanding is that most are using Maxi 12s for feed. I hate to put that in my sump (heat issues). Anyone use an Iwaki 20 with gate valve?
