UPDATE...
Hi everyone,
Well, today marks my 14th day of the 14 day Zeovit cycle and I thought I'd post up on some of the results thus far.
I have placed 4 small fish as per the instructions,{Day 10 First herbivore fish (max. 2 per 200 L) can be added}, my first 4 "hardier corals" and have also added some clean up crew members consisting of Turbo snails and hermit crabs.
Surprisingly, everything seems to be doing quite well for only 2 weeks into a cycle! The fish are content and the corals are already showing signs of improvement as well. The corals were pretty stressed due to a little mishap I had in the frag room. I was pretty ticked off and didn't report on this but I lost probably 90% of my original water from my previous tank due to a hose coming undone and the pump "doing it's job" and continuing to pump all the water out and onto my "hardwood" floor no less, and out the door:mad2: Needless to say it was VERY aggravating and I have once again lost some of my nicer corals... However, there are more than half that have hung in there.
I had about 15 gallons of pre-mixed salt water on hand but had to make up the rest on the fly... The corals didn't like that too well we'll say... Anyway, everything seems to be coming back to normal but I'm a few corals short of where I should be. But that's enough of that rant
So, as I was saying things are progressing well~! Corals that I've placed in the tank are looking real good and coloring up NICE, amazing stuff that Zeovit!!!
There's a slight accumulation of some brown algae on some areas of the sand and rocks but nothing too bad or surprising for this stage of the game.
Here's some pictures for you all to see:
This one is starting to go a nice shade of deep purple!
And this one is turning a real pretty blue. Just wish I had a better camera!
