DE HQI halide bulb users-How often do you change your bulbs.

I'll be posting my 225 project with pics soon Tim. Its been a fun ride so far. You will probably like the ideas I came up with.

Thanks for the offer on the bulb, but I use mogul base bulbs. I just ordered some xm 10,000k's to replace with, hopefully it will make a difference. I was using 14000k's in a cheaper brand, very blue, maybe they are affecting things, they seemed more blue than their predecessors right off the bat. We'll find out!

Also just ordered the phos media you recommended. Thanks.

Where did you purchase the 12K's at?

you can get them from anyone that sells coralvue bulbs. just ask for 12k reeflux.

Hey Tim!

Which 14000K bulbs were you using? I was not impressed with my 14000K's but I cannot remember the manufacturer off the top of my head. I wonder if they are the same?
