dead yuma?

How do you tell what a yuma is dead? I got an order and one of the heads had lost his rock.... I netted him to a rock, but I am now wondering if he's dead. He's curled up on 2 sides really tight, and he's rock hard, and his mouth is wide open.... Whats up with that?

You can tell that they are dead when they turn to mush and disappear. Curling up means that they are not happy with their immediate environment.

Put it in the dark in a cave or under an overhand, and make sure it's getting flow through the netting or it's going to get an infection and die. Might be safer to put it in a cup with coral rubble in the cave instead.
