Thought I'd share some pictures. Over the last week or so, one of my favorite colonies starteshowing signs of infection, or agitation.
This is what my colony looked like about 3 weeks ago... nice and healthy (the pink ones);
About a week ago, it started looking like this, closing up and showing some sort of brown fungus.
So, I did a fresh water dip, nothing too major. I don't have iodine, or lugols, etc... This was the best I could do given my available time this week. I did place the colony on the other side of the tank, away from the rest of my zoa's as a precaution.
Funny thing is, there is a frag of the same colony, that I had placed in the far back of the tank, away from everything else, and that frag is showing the same symptoms. Mind you, this frag has been on its own for well over 3 months or so.
I have had this colony for over a year and a half. It has survived much, a partial crash, etc... I have no idea why this happened and why this particular morph is the only one affected. Something similiary happened to another pink morph I had December 2005. Any thoughts?
