Decapsulating brine shrimp eggs

When the process is done and they are stored in the fridge in brine is it normal/ok to have a slight chlorine smell in the storage container?

I followed the decapsulating instructions and soaked in vinegar for 5 minutes after but still the chlorine smell remains.

There shouldn't be any chlorine smell. Give them a real good fresh water rinse for a good 5 minutes, I find that by itself does a good job
