Dehumidifier or HVR?

Does anyone have pics of their fan set up? I am in the final stages of my frag/fish room. The room is 10.5'x6'. There is an old coal shoot that I plan on replacing with Glass Block and a dry vent attached to an in-line or booster fan. My biggest concern is return air since my room is directly next to my furnace and HW heater.

I'm very interested in this as my fish room recently had a very small bout with mold. I left the humidity unchecked, opened the window one day, and the next there was mold on the wall. Stripped it, painted over with mold resistant paint, and borrowed a dehumidifier.

Probably is my tanks aren't in the basement, but on the 1st floor with two "normal" sized windows (too lazy to go measure). No idea how to deal with the moisture.

Just figured I'd post a update...

Block window installed with vent and dryer vent. Purchased a Hydrofarm ActiveAir Blower Fan 465 CFM from Indoor Gardens (local) and hooked it up Friday.

My humidity has dropped roughly 14%.

ok hears my question i live in duplex and have about 250 gallons in the garage in there no heater or hot water heater what about a ceiling exhaust fan through the roof little hard to put one out the garage it is one car garage not that big any ideas thanks

I had First Choice Glass install the block windows. It was absolutely unbelievable how fast they ripped out my old windows. They did a good job and had a fair price.

That's who I've used in both my old and current home. My only complaint is that the mortar has cracked and my vent window is loose in my finished part.

I would be worried about the extra humidity in the attic space. I would think that would be asking for a mold problem.
