My buddy gave my this anthelia today, I acclimated it for about 30 minutes. He said it was hardy and he didnt spend too much time acclimationg it when he added to his tank and it did fine. Looked good for a while then i noticed it shriveling up a little, then more, and loosing some color. but it is only on the stalk (I dont know coral anatomy yet). I read in one book this is nromal when the lights go off, but the lights are on. I am running 3-250 watt MH over a 125. with about 2700 gph flow. I have feather dusters, a zoa, aptasia (it was on the rock when i bought it, just picked up some stuff to kill it tonight). and a few other things in the tank already, so im not sure what water conditon would hurt this but nothing else.

I would'nt worry just yet Nick.

Anthelia is a lot like xenia .....some can't keep it alive and others can't get rid of it.

Give it a few days to adjust and see what happens.
