I'm glad that it's going to a reputable breeder... hopefully sooner or later we'll see some in circulation! :thumbsup:
 
I like Matt, but I don't care who has it, a fish this rare should be left in the Sea! We speak of saving the world's reefs one moment, the next cheering the arrival of a very rare trophy fish whose importation quota should no doubt be at or very near zero.

Its not a different species, its an abhoration as far as science is concerned. We see beauty in it that will attempt to be exploited for a profit. Its the equivalent of albinism realistically.

From what I they say, if you want to believe the collector, this variation comes from Papua New Guinea (PNG) It should be considered an island treasure. Here's another from the same area:

the second fish appears to be a large (female) specimen.
It looks bright orange/red- even inside the plastic collection cup.

I'm not a big fan of Maroon Clowns but these specimens are incredible.
 
I wondered if its not a trait that is sometimes expressed when a cross of the finer lined Australian and the normal White Stripe has happened?
