Dinner with Barry

Hard to believe the time is almost here... Anybody interested in going out to dinner with Barry on Fri night? He would love a lobster dinner....I am guessing we can meet about 6 at the Embassy Suites and go from there...

Also am open to suggestions for a decent place to take him,something somewhat unique or truely 'Maineish'.... any suggestions???

Sounds good Sue..I am thinking the Village Inn for dinner... is close by.. I need to find out if they serve lobster before I committ to it....

I was looking at the directions and noted it's near Newick's, I haven't been there in AGES but it used to be THE place for seafood. Nothing fancy, paper plates and all but the GREATEST seafood in the largest portions! Very Mainish, picnic tables and all. Not sure if Village Inn serves lobsters but I think they do. Anywho either on should serve a great feed. Meet you at P&R 5 sharp. Can't wait! Sue

Denise, I think I'm in for dinner, but don't think I'll make the talk. I think Newicks would be more of the Maine experience, but a bit further away. I've driven by it but don't know exactly where it is. Personally I am not big into Dimillo's, but it is close, the parking is abundant and free, and the atmosphere is quite nice since it is right on the water. Visitors seem to like it and they definitely have lobster.

I am thinking the Village Cafe... not sure I really want a 'family' style so much and I think that is waht Newicks is like....and I agree on DiMillos

I am making reservations for about 8, so far I have only had 5 people say they will go to the dinner...

Any idea if Dan, Mike E, Steve or anyone are going? Where are these guys, am disappointed we havenot heard much from them????

After Barry has rested, he arrives at 11, we can meet at the Embassy Suites for a drink before dinner.... reservations are for 6:30 at the Village Cafe ... anyone game? If not we will see you at dinner....
