should i attempt to feed it today it definetly expelled all its waste in shipping so it is basicly an empty nem no food or poo in it

Thank you for your post. Yes, from the pictures you posted it looks like the anemone is acclimating well to your aquarium. If it’s still acclimating in the aquarium, he may not be ready to eat yet. You could try and feed the anemone a piece of fish, or shrimp with tongs. Using the tongs will help keep the food in one spot while the anemone closes around the food.

i will leave it until tonight and see if it wants a lil chunk of silverside i dont have any tongs and they dont have any at the pet store around here i will order some thanks for all the help

Thank you for your reply. We feel that the anemone is still alive, and may just not be ready for food. The fact that it spit the food out shows that it is active, and it may take a few more days before it has acclimated enough to accept food. As always, please contact us if it takes a turn for the worse.
