Diving in Cebu Philippines

I'll be in Cebu in July. Any suggestions for diving besides Moalboal, Bohol or Malapascua (been there)
How about Apo Island or Sequijor?

You should go! Only prob is the air fare and length of flight. High and long. Diving is quite cheap when you are there and as exotic as it gets. Every place I've dove has been great and have kinda settled on Siquijor and Apo Island. I'm based in Cebu so don't want to roam too far and both places are within a few hours by FastCat Ferry.

Just to push you, here's where I've been in Moalboal and Malapascua

Diving in the Philippines is awesome, I was there in Nov. and I cant wait to go back I dove in Palawan wich is not near Cebu but I have been told Apo Island is very good and there is good diving near Alona beach in Bohol.

I was just in Cebu and Bohol with my wife few months ago. Went diving around Bohol and Panglau Isalnd. We hired a guy with a boat and he knew all the hot spots to go. This on reef we went to was on a cliff of an underwater mountain. For me it was a great trip. I am sure you gonna love it there.

If you do go to Bohol, go and the the chocolate mountains and the little tersier monkeys they got there. Also there is a floating restaurant cruse on Lobok river. Very well worth the five bucks for the food and the cruse.

Have fun

Philippine diving is awesome. Diving prices are very low and you can get a dedicated boat and guide for a very low price that is negotiable. Batangas is exceptional critter diving.

Well, we've nailed it down. Siquijor first, then Apo Island. After some family time in Cebu, we're headed to Moalboal to finish up the trip. I'll post pics as soon as I get back.
Thanks for all the suggestions, got a list now of other places to go.

Have any of you tryed the Palawan area i use to dive there before some 30 years ago its the place where i have seen thing that i have never seen anywhere before beautiful underwater experience

It's on my list of places to dive before I die, but I haven't been there yet. All indications are that it is still fantastic.
