DIY LED Group buy

i really think an entirely new thread should be started, with a link to the spreadsheet on the first page so it's easy for people to find and with the instructions for the group buy clearly stated and a link to rapidled can't hurt either.

i think the problem is people stop checking back, or they don't go through all the pages to see what's happening.

an official rapid led group buy thread on the socali homepage will get people's attention and they'll see that this is actually happening.

i'd be happy to do it, but didn't want to confuse people since i'm not organizing the group buy or anything.

willing to do what i can to help this move alone, just let me know :)

hopefully that'll do the trick

I would love to particiapte in this, but I've just started my research for my tank (don't even have the tank yet, plan on a 34 Solana or 29 BC if I can't get that.) and I am not entirely sure how much lighting I will need. If you guys are not ordering within the next 2 weeks, I'd love to put in an order. Also, can anyone help me answer a few question about lighting?

I was reading that this might be too difficult because the vendor is requiring everything to be paid from one person and shipped to one person. Might work for a couple friends, but I don't know that it'd work on the forum.

oh really? i remember reading that the person in contact with them said that the payment had to come from one person, but the items could be shipped to each person individually as long as they pay for the shipping of course.

if that's the case, then that is more work than it should be

Yea that ^. $6 per address

The vendor is giving a fine discount for a large order. When taking directions from 20 different people on an order the reason for the discount evaporates. They originally (and still) offered to break up the shipment at a cost of $6.00 per per package/address. That's very reasonable.

MODS. We've started a new thread RE: this GB. Kindly, could you please close this one so that we may direct traffic to the new thread?

Thanks
